The rolled-up newspaper emoji is a variant of the classic newspaper emoji. It depicts a print newspaper or magazine rolled up and often tied together with a band or with string. Some versions of this emoji are more intricate than others, with the most basic only showing a few bars of grey or blue lines, while others almost show individual words and pictures when viewed close up. It can be used interchangeably with the newspaper emoji to represent news or gossip. A rolled up newspaper is also often used as a tool for disciplining bold puppies, so it can be used jokingly in that context too!
